RGB LEDs

I've discovered the magic of RGB LEDs and I'm a believer! It has been my mission to light up all the things. They're very cheap and easy to setup. They often come with a controller that uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) to change the colors. It's usually pre-programmed with various patters and comes with an infrared remote.

The light they produce is very diffuse, so they tend to have a very soft glow when placed behind something like a TV, instead of having bright spots (that sort of "Christmas light" effect). One roll of lights is more than enough to light up an entire room.
